Boston Link is recruiting on behalf of a leading player in the payments industry. That are rapidly expanding its presence in the European market. Utilizing cutting-edge open banking technology, they facilitate seamless payments across various sectors. As an international company, they are on the brink of expanding into new markets in alignment with the global rollout of open banking.
  
Job Summary:
As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client's merchant base and driving growth initiatives. Your primary focus will involve engaging with potential merchants, understanding their needs, and identifying opportunities for collaboration. Special attention will be given to the Gaming & Financial Services sectors. Additionally, you will nurture existing merchant relationships to maximize portfolio expansion and upselling opportunities.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's products and services to effectively promote them.
  • Present our client's product portfolio and negotiate agreements with potential partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales opportunities.
  • Handle incoming leads and direct introductions promptly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development of growth strategies and merchant business plans.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery to merchants, embodying our client's ethos of integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance merchant and consumer satisfaction.
  
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of Sales and/or Account Management experience in Payments, with a preference for experience in Gaming & Financial Services.
  • Proficiency in office tools such as email, documents, and basic numeric data.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for customer and opportunity management.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
