Would you like to work for a world-class software provider company in Europe? A fantastic opportunity has arisen within such a company for a Business Development Manager to sit in their Malta office.

The Business Development Manager is responsible to sell our successful software to new clients (B2B) and take them through the steps of go live to ensure future growth of overall business with them. Creating an industry-leading experience, where clients want to work with our software.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Present the product to prospects, negotiate commercial terms and close the sales cycle;
  • Manage the deployment process of the product from A to Z, including the technical integration (if one is needed);
  • Develop sector and market expertise and take a consultative approach to gain a clear understanding of the customers’ business drivers and requirements;
  • Develop strong customer relationships at required levels and functions across the customers’ organizations;
  • Continual monitoring of user feedback to anticipate business needs and forward them to the Product department;
  • Continually develop new ways of lead generation;
  • Work with marketing to ensure marketing messages match the sales strategy and objectives of driving lead value.
  • Maintain constant knowledge of market conditions and competitive positioning and activities.

The Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years ideally gaming experience, with previous experience within the online B2B industry as a Salesperson or Account Manager;
  • Excellent English language skills with fluency in other languages as a bonus;
  • Experience selling with different sales cycles;
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills, team player and highly coachable, capable of sharing feedback and ideas across multiple teams;
  • The ability to be innovative and creative with excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Very good people skills;
  • Self-starter who is motivated to succeed and proactive approach who is able to work in a team and independently;
  • Ability to sell and close deals;
  • A problem solver a proactive approach;
  • Driven by targets;
  • Commercially minded, with strong analytical/numerical skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
