Our Client, a local entity specialising in the commercial needs’ operators within the gaming industry, is seeking to recruit a Business Senior Executive.

The right candidate shall be directly answerable in the performance of duties and report to the Chief Officer – Finance and Programme Management or his/her assigned designate and shall observe and comply with all reasonable, lawful and proper guidelines and directions as may be issued by the organisation.

You will be responsible mainly for matters in connection with the Programme Management and performance monitoring of the entity and other matters as may be directed by the Chief Officer – Finance and Programme Management or your assigned designate.

The Employee shall be responsible for the overseeing of the scoping, planning, coordination of implementation and monitoring of all assigned projects in order to ensure that their intended objectives are reached in the most efficient and timely manner. Tasks shall include, but not limited to:

  • Actively undertaking assigned projects and making sure they are adequately scoped;
  • Managing the project scope throughout the life cycle of the project;
  • Identifying project deliverables and planning or pertaining tasks set to achieve identified outputs;
  • Coordinating, in conjunction with other project players, the efficient execution of agreed tasks;
  • Implementing an appropriate progress monitoring exercise throughout the lifecycle of the project;
  • Managing project stakeholder in line with the needs of the assigned projects;
  • Ensuring proper document management of project related documentation.

The Candidate

  • In possession of a degree/recognised certification in Business Management or Project/Programme Management;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment;
  • Thinks and acts strategically;
  • Takes ownership of actions in line with agreed KPIs;
  • Ability to organise and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written);
  • Takes ownership of assigned projects;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing gaming in Malta shall be considered an asset;
  • Ability to motivate both self and project team, be a team player, and an agent of convergence and moderation, with an attitude to match.
