Our Client is looking for an experienced CFO who will be a key member of the Top Management Team reporting to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who can manage diverse teams simultaneously to take its in-house financial team to the next level.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Analysing and reviewing financial data;
  • Financially controlling the function of the Group;
  • Overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting and implementation process for financial forecasting and budgets;
  • Reporting and analysing business performance;
  • Monitoring and directing the implementation of strategic and business plans across office locations;
  • Creating performance measures that support the Group’s strategic direction and identifying key areas of improvement;
  • Managing third party relations which impact the finance department and the Group;
  • Ensuring the Group’s vision is translated into effective financial strategy;
  • Working with HR to implement policies, procedures, and internal Systems;
  • Monitoring all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the iGaming Industry;
  • Working with the Head of Compliance and implement keeping regime which meets all regulatory and authority requirements;
  • Ensuring all processes are up to and aligned with Group standards;
  • Monitoring expenditure and costs and reporting to the CEO.

  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

The Candidate

  • Achieved an ACA or ACCA qualification or a degree in Finance;
  • Be a Certified Public Accountant/holder of a practicing Audit certificate;
  • Have a strong audit background with a minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role within an audit firm or as a financial controller;
  • Experience in managing teams;
  • Have exposure to the iGaming Industry in Malta;
  • Have experience working across several office locations.
