The Role

We are seeking to recruit a Compliance Executive to strengthen our Client’s compliance function. You shall be reporting to, as well as providing support to the Compliance Officer in connection with the following matters:

  • Drafting annual compliance plans;
  • Monitoring of legal and regulatory developments and supporting the various departments within the company in the drafting of policies and implementation of procedures which may be required;
  • Drafting and reviewing of board policies;
  • Monitoring compliance with the applicable legislation and regulations by insurance intermediaries;
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory requirements in jurisdictions where the company operates under the provisions of freedom to provide services;
  • Supporting the complaints management function.

The Candidate

  • Have acquired a minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance. Applicants holding a legal degree or with experience in insurance compliance will be given priority;
  • Be highly motivated and able to work on own initiative;
  • Be highly fluent in both Maltese and English;
  • Be a team player with strong organisational and communication skills.
