Our Client is rapidly expanding in Malta and is currently looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Swedish-speaking Compliance Officer. The ideal candidate will monitor and review all developments within the regulatory environment of the business. You will help in assisting the Legal and Compliance team with regards to developing and maintaining the company policies and procedures.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Implementation of Responsible Gaming Legislative Requirements;
  • Licensing application & maintenance;
  • Liaising with all Regulatory bodies on all Compliance matters;
  • Participate in general on company administration;
  • Reviewing audit results ensuring relevant action is taken;
  • Working in areas such as data protection;
  • Keeping up to date with all remote gaming jurisdictions;
  • Ensuring all required reports are generated and provided to senior management as required.

The Candidate

  • iGaming experience or a basic understanding would be a plus;
  • Fluency English language (both written and oral), the Swedish language will be considered as an asset;
  • Ideally, have compliance experience –  job training will be provided;
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking/innovation;
  • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills;
  • Quick learner and ability to take on board added responsibility;
  • Familiarity with AML requirements,KYC/CDD would be ideal;
  • Experience in completing compliance assessments across various departments within the business;
  • Ability to draft & update the policies and procedures of the Company ensuring Compliance;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
