Our Client, a long-standing financial institution based in Malta, is seeking to recruit a hard-working, well-organised Corporate Credit Division Assistant Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for the organisation’s loan portfolios origination process. You will have constant contact with the Foreign Subsidiaries’ Head Offices and branches to obtain necessary loan documentation and submitting them as would be required. Daily communication and updates with the Customer Deposits Department and Loan Administration Department concerning existing borrowers’ status and new developments.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Creating loan files including collaterals, appraisals, insurance policies, credit undertaking agreements, loan repayment agreements and schedules, financial statements and all other necessary documentation;
  • Preparing cases to be presented for discussion and decision, to the Credit Committee and submitting these first to the attention of the Credit Department Manager for his/her review;
  • Reviewing constantly existing files, financial statements and credit reviews submitting reports to the Credit Department Manager for Risk Mitigation and Early Warning purposes.

The Candidate

  • University Degree or equivalent Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and Economics;
  • Fluency in English (the Greek language will be considered an asset);
  • 5 years of experience in Corporate Banking;
  • Good computer skills,
  • Credit/Financial Analysis Skills.
