Our Client, a global product driven company is seeking to recruit a Head of Product – Payments to join their team and help amaze their customers by providing unique and engaging experiences.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Define the payment product vision and strategy;
  • Provide sector visibility and insight to drive payment innovation;
  • Ensure that the development plan is directed to reach both tactical and strategic objectives;
  • Maximise the value of R&D investment and partnership initiatives;
  • Ensure that the development team understand items in the product backlog to the level needed. Represent business stakeholders in all development phases and communicating requirements to the team;
  • Keep track of payment product performance trends and take necessary action when needed;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the concept development of a product;
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, all aligned with product strategy;
  • Continually monitor product backlog;
  • Update product backlog as needed to maintain a roadmap for the next 3-4 quarters based on the current situation;
  • Ensure current and future development initiatives and effort are communicated and clear to all;
  • Communicate product value and methods of use to stakeholders (through documentation or consultation);
  • KYC Uploads Management;
  • Payment Integration – understanding and management of integration needs for various marketplace initiatives;
  • Manage and extend 3rd party payment provider relationships;
  • Monthly stakeholder meeting; including the management of any non-technical aspects of payment projects with a cross-department focus;
  • Maintain and develop a stable payment infrastructure.

The Candidate

  • University degree;
  • Technical product owner experience within a payment capacity;
  • 2+ years’ experience within a product organisation working with Agile methods;
  • Experience with content management systems and processes;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with Jira or AHA is a plus;
  • Experience supporting multiple brands through platform products is a plus.
