We’re looking for a Multilingual Customer Support Specialist with a minimum of 1-year experience in customer support to join our Client’s team of professionals, based in their lovely Maltese office. Our Client is a financial service provider offering the best practice services in payment methods for the online and the offline business.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of written and spoken English and will be fluent in at least one of the following languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, and Slovenian. You must be based in Malta and eligible to work in the EU. Financial services and/or banking related products are nothing new to you? Let us have a chat!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide effective support to business customers through live chat and e-mail;
  • Taking ownership and initiative to complete the necessary investigation and customer follow up;
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide timely escalation and follow up with pending customer issues to resolve appropriately;
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve products and services in response to customer feedback and insight;
  • Provide ad-hoc translation support to our marketing team.

The Candidate

  • Minimum 1-year working experience in customer support;
  • Previous experience within the financial services sector;
  • Based in Malta and eligible to work within the EU;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and at least one of the following languages; Bulgarian, Croatian, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, and Slovenian;
  • Naturally personable and quick to build rapport;
  • Have a passion for writing and problem-solving;
  • Able to work independently and with minimal supervision;
  • Previous experience translating copy for web would be advantageous, although not necessary.
