A global and well established online gambling company needs a Paid Social Media Manager to join it’s dynamic team in Malta.  You will be responsible for paid social media campaigns including implementation of ads, reporting, analysis and optimisation of performance through content, targeting and testing. Another key aspect of the role includes responsibility for acquisition and re-targeting campaign setup, on-going optimization, and reporting. You will also be required to perform daily management and optimisation of paid search campaigns across social media platforms. The Paid Social Media Manager role offers a great opportunity to join this leading company which has over 200 employees and owns great brands and products.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Test and improve on existing techniques;
  • Analyse and optimize. Use all analytical tools to manage and improve campaign performance;
  • Investigate new audiences and test them on an on-going basis depending on the brand being advertised;
  • Test Ads with new messaging, video content and landing pages to optimise key metrics like click-through-rate, cost-per-acquisition and profitability;
  • Budget management and revenue growth – analyse and optimize campaigns on a daily, weekly and monthly level to ensure continued growth;
  • Set and meet stakeholder expectations, identify new opportunities and streamline processes;
  • Stay ahead of new ad products and technology advancements, understand how to harness them to deliver on business goals and impact media plans;
  • At least 2 years and proven track record of setting up and managing paid advertising and promotion opportunities across social media networks especially Facebook;
  • Testing and optimisation of results for social performance using on-site metrics such as CPA and ROI to establish performance, in addition to Google Analytics, Facebook and other analytic tools;
  • Collaborating with brand/design to produce and identify best performing creative for campaigns;
  • Collaborating with campaign teams to participate in and leverage 360 campaigns;
  • Collaborating with alternative acquisition channels to deliver cohesive CX;
  • Understanding customer value and utilising strategies to drive quality traffic to the company websites.

  • Understanding of fundamental media metrics and calculations;
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills;
  • Think creatively, initiate projects, identify and resolve problems;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere;
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points;
  • Excellent command of English.
