The Role

We are looking for a full-time Payroll Clerk who will be responsible for all the wages and salaries, for the above locations on a full-time basis, along with general account clerk duties.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Arrange the payment of staff salaries/wages through a computerised payroll system;
  • Collect timesheets and other documents related to the salaries/wages;
  • Prepare and process papers for new engaged employees and resigned/dismissed employees;
  • Record vacation leave, sickness and other absences;
  • To complete various forms required by IRD, Jobsplus and other government departments;
  • Keeping and maintaining all employee files up to date and in a confidential manner;
  • Maintaining and keeping all Health Insurance related matters;
  • Prepare the monthly FS5’s and submit manually or through the IRD website using the e-id;
  • Processing and submitting the year end requirements of payroll for the IRD and any other relevant parties;
  • Make sure correct funds are transferred to the wage bank account before every payment;
  • Departments float checks;
  • Reconciliations of department bank accounts;
  • Assist with accounts department filing and other duties when needed;
  • Assist the Finance Department in handling auditors queries;
  • To compile various reports as may be necessary;
  • General HR assistance and involvement with any HR matters;
  • To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably assigned your direct superior or by the Senior Management.

The Candidate

  • Previous experience within payroll a must;
  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
