We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Executive to increase the overall sales of the Company as well as to maintain and protect the reputation of our Client as a top tier venue for events and dining experience.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • To manage the portfolio of clients and develop a new business flow for the Company, both locally and internationally;
  • To develop and manage sales contacts with existing and potential clients;
  • To meet the targets and objectives set by the Senior Sales Manager;
  • To provide prompts and convincing response to client queries;
  • To contribute to maintain and improve a consistent corporate image throughout all client contacts, product lines and when attending events;
  • To represents the Company at events such as trade fairs and association meetings when appropriate to actively promote the Company and its products;
  • To establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners;
  • To assists the Senior Sales Manager in product research and development;
  • To report to Senior Sales Manager: to submit periodic sales report showing achieved sales volume and revenue, expected sales, clients progress reports;
  • To ensure all administrative tasks are completed and submitted in a timely manner;
  • To support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times;
  • To supports the Company, the Directors and colleagues on their day-to-day duties or requirements;
  • To perform other duties as directed by the Sales Manager.

The Candidate

  • Financial management skills e.g., ability to understand and manage operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling;
  • Computer literate with MS Office applications (as a minimum) and fluent with social media platforms;
  • Respectful of time table, working hours and other Company internal directives;
  • Fluent in Maltese, English, and Italian. Knowledge of other languages will be considered as an asset;
  • Proven sales experience and strong knowledge of the hospitality and luxury business;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proactive in initiating and entertaining new contacts for building long term relationships;
  • Ability to acquire and maintain relationships;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Persistent in action with a proactive attitude;
  • Ability to react quickly to client queries;
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks;
  • Ability to cope with stressful situations;
  • Respectful of hierarchy, trustful and faithful to the Company;
  • Innovative, detail oriented, and quality conscious;
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a consistent display of professionalism;
  • Strong team player. Easy to follow directions, can take constructive criticism,  can easily get along with co-workers and supervisors, to treat co-workers, supervisors and members/guests with respect and courtesy, and to refrain from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior;
  • Should be able to travel abroad.
