Are you looking to take on a new challenge and take over responsibility for the brand presence in the Swedish market? This position might be for you! We are currently recruiting a Swedish Country Manager to work with an international gaming company, centrally located in Malta. The ideal candidate will assist with the overall structure and development of robust business processes and report directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition. You will be responsible for devising, agreeing and implementing effective strategies to meet and exceed the company objectives & targets at market level. Note that this position can be based in Malta but also in Sweden.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ability to conceptualise, discuss and present marketing ideas internally and externally;
  • Develop, manage and drive goals and KPIs for the regulate Swedish market to meet and exceed the company’s business strategy and objectives;
  • Proactively seek out attractive partnerships and marketing opportunities that will help grow and benefit the business;
  • Analyse, evaluate, adjust and implement effective strategies to drive growth and success in your region;
  • Be the owner and driver of regulatory compliance and AML policy excellence for your region;
  • Lead the development of the organisation’s marketing plans for the region, and advocate, communicate and implement the strategy working closely with the product, content and acquisition teams;
  • Ensure the monitoring of industry and provide local market expertise to the team;
  • Work with business stakeholders to ensure acquisition and retention initiatives appeal and perform at the local level, continually optimising to ensure maximum ROI;
  • Develop, manage and drive the multichannel marketing strategy for Sweden across digital and offline, working with, and influencing business stakeholders to achieve optimum performance;
  • Analyse, understand and report on the performance of paid campaigns from spending to key metrics;
  • Forecast potential revenue growth based on channel and conversion performance;
  • Extract and deliver insights to partner teams on what resonates and what performs in the market;
  • Recommend, oversee, plan and optimise daily/weekly/monthly reporting and KPIs.

The Candidate

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent;
  • Native Swedish and fluent English;
  • Extensive marketing experience in the market, ideally with solid internet, online services/media industry experience;
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market and understanding of the search, online advertising, or web publishing markets;
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding and highly creative marketing achievements with limited budgets;
  • Flexible and robust personality with the ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to the changing requirements and challenges of a large international business;
  • A proven, successful track record of increasing company revenue and awareness through well-executed marketing efforts;
  • Good understanding and experience in brand development, brand positioning, brand value and branded product development value and branded product development;
  • P&L ownership experience – highly preferable;
  • Thorough knowledge of off/online advertising planning, tracking and reporting;
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
