The Sportsbook Operations Executive will be a key member of the sportsbook team and will play a key part in driving the ongoing success of our product. The role will be varied on a day-to-day basis, working and co-ordinating across a number of different internal departments, as well as with third-party suppliers and will require someone who is able to focus on multiple tasks and prioritise their time to ensure all deadlines are met.  The successful candidate should have a real passion for sports and some prior knowledge of working in a sports betting environment. This is an exciting role for an individual with a "can-do" attitude & an ability to get things done.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Working with the Sportsbook Operations Manager to deliver a compelling sportsbook promotional calendar.
  • End-to-end ownership of operational campaign delivery – including but not limited to promotional conception, briefing process, uploading promotional content onto the site, co-ordination of relevant odds with third party sportsbook provider.
  • Liaising with third party trading and operations teams to deliver promotional campaigns and special markets.
  • Building and testing sportsbook bonuses for all sports promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure that project deadline & key milestones are met.
  • Scheduling of content and banners on site.
  • Optimisation of sports content and markets throughout the website.
  • Building strong relationships with various stakeholders both within the interactive and retail casino business, as well as third-party partners.
  • Creation of all new sports promotional pages within the back office CMS.
  • Working with BI to analyse the success of promotions and reporting findings back to rest of the interactive team.
  • Analysing player behaviours and identifying and acting on data to ensure good players are being looked after and bad are being removed as quickly as possible.
  • Ongoing competitor analysis and a continual drive to want to improve the customers on site experience.
  • Aiding customer service to resolve any sportsbook customer queries as efficiently and quickly as possible.
  • Working with compliance to ensure all Terms for offers are fully compliant and approved and uploaded to the site.
  • Product testing across multiple devices – Desktop, mobile and app.
  • Input into the sports product roadmap.
  • Working with Head of Multi-channel to deliver retail focussed acquisition propositions.
  • Quality control of sportsbook marketing assets.
  • Copywriting skills as and when required.
Personal Skills & Experience
  • Good understanding of the UK gambling market with a passion and knowledge for Sports.
  • Experience of European betting markets would also be beneficial.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Initiative to own campaigns from start to finish.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Able to analyse and act on data trends.
  • MS Office proficient (Excel – Power Point – Word).
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a friendly and well presented, with outstanding relationship-building skills.
  • A self-starter – Demonstrates initiative and enthusiasm, well organised, skilled at managing own workload to meet deadlines and be able to clearly demonstrate both project and time management skills to deliver multiple projects on time and budget.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team, under pressure and to deadlines.
  • A basic understanding of HTML would be an advantage.
