A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented and technical Head of Business Intelligence to join our team in Malta.

The Head of Business Intelligence will lead analytic for the brand across multiple products, countries and marketing channels.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Ongoing analysis to identify which areas of the business deliver greatest ROI both short & long term to allow constant operational and marketing optimisation
• Designing and implementing quality interactive reports, dashboards and push notifications
• Daily tracking and reporting of performance vs plan across all main KPIs
• Ongoing analysis to identify which areas/levers of the business deliver greatest ROI both short & long term
• Support the organization in delivering best in class pricing models
• Data warehouse skills (build conceptual data models and interpret data)
• BI – building relevant interactive dashboards for Commercial, Marketing, MD & Ops teams
• Customer insight analysis
• Lifetime Value Reporting & Predictive Lifetime Value modelling across all customer segments including VIP
• Determining appropriate data sources and the approach to blending data from disparate sources into robust, usable datasets
• Working closely with database administrators to ensure the relevant data is available for use by the business
• Contributing to the team’s quality assurance and best practice initiatives (including the testing of new data sources added to our data warehouse)
• Promoting team awareness of innovative techniques and concepts through demos and training sessions
• Support marketing with customer segmentation and analysis
• Churn prevention analysis & recommendation


Reporting & Analysis
• Deliver user friendly dashboards bespoke for Executives & Department Heads
• Produce performance summary reports at period end
• Proactive investigation and delivery of insight with regards to performance - highlighting trends, areas of opportunity & concern and alerting where the action is required.
• Critical analysis of marketing campaigns to ascertain their effectiveness and profitability
• Post investment/event analysis with regards to capital projects or operational changes

Personal skills & Experience
• Proven record of providing information influencing the operational decision making
• Experience from the online gaming industry an advantage
• An analytical and inquisitive mind
• Ideally work closely with digital marketing organisations in the past
• Collaborative approach supporting all area of the business: marketing, product and finance
• Track record of delivering BI that dramatically improves business results against challenging targets in often fast-changing business environments
• Track record of delivering BI that dramatically improves business results
• Ability to digest large amounts of data and translate into concise, user-friendly and actionable insight.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
• Ability to make decisions, identify issues and solve problems efficiently
