Reporting to the Platforms Manager, the selected candidate will be working within the Technology team, supporting and maintaining multiple platforms. 

Duties and responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of software platforms (mainly Navision) related to the Bank's core operations
  • Keeping platforms up to date by testing and implementing the latest releases and patches delivered by third party suppliers throughout the year
  • Ensuring smooth operations of platforms and monitoring for repeated issues, performing root cause analysis where necessary
  • Prioritising and resolving day to day second-line issues related to the platforms by using issue tracking tools
  • Assisting in post-implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance
  • Collaborating with Business and Technology teams as well as external suppliers to provide system support, testing and documentation
Required knowledge, skills and experience
  • Previous experience in a software development role
  • Experience with Navision
  • Good knowledge of SQL technologies (Microsoft SQL)
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
