A leading Financial Services company, providing legal and regulatory services to clients in various industries worldwide, is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join its team in Malta. 

Responsibilities include:

• Communicating with clients on a daily basis and handling various requests in a timely manner;
• Managing all activities concerning a different client portfolio;
• Reviewing and drafting of legal documents;
• Actively participating in the complete setup process of companies, from prospect phase until incorporation, registering at local authorities etc.;
• Attending and participating at client meetings, either on or off-site;
• Coordinating external advisers;
• Keeping track of new legal and fiscal developments and anticipating changes in legislation and translating this into business opportunities;
• Drafting of legal opinions on corporate and financial services matters;
• Ensuring that statutory deadlines are met.

Your Profile:

• A fully qualified lawyer, with a warrant to practice under Maltese law;
• At least one to three (1-3) years of work experience in a similar role;
• Experience within Maltese Corporate Law;
• Excellent level of written and spoken English;
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Personal credibility, integrity, and high moral standards;
• Well-organised and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
• Result-oriented, responsible, highly meticulous, and detail-oriented.
