We’re looking for an extraordinary and meticulous
HR & Payroll Executive who will contribute towards ensuring that our client's employees have a positive experience providing excellent customer service through the support offered on policies, procedures and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities include:- Handling and producing the Payroll function, and ensuring that standard payroll guidelines are documented;
- Confirming that payments made are in line with legal requirements and established company work conditions;
- Keeping up-to-date records on employee employment & payroll information;
- Supporting employees and management in adhering to HR policies, procedures and payroll deadlines;
- Actioning payroll adjustments related to employees’ remuneration by the end of each month;
- Making sure payroll as well as KPI and Accounting reporting, are processed in a timely and accurate manner;
- Organising HR and Payroll related reports, KPIs, reconciliations and other statistical reports;
- Putting together and analysing statistical reports required by HR Senior Management and external entities;
- Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship between HR and the rest of the organisation, as well as external service providers;
- Making sure that all employees have an excellent experience;
- Ensuring confidentiality on employee information is maintained at all times;
- Keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation and suggest measures to address gaps between current practices;
- Carrying out any other duties within the HR function as directed by HR Management.
Requirements:- At least two (2) years experience in a Payroll environment with knowledge of HR databases preferably, the Dakar Software System;
- An HR/Accountancy related qualification or equivalent would be considered an asset;
- Strong understanding of employment and other related legislation;
- Excellent computer skills, especially in the use of Excel Office Automation tools;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team whilst adopting a 'can-do' attitude;
- Methodical, analytical and highly-organised;
- Ability to plan, prioritise and work well under pressure to meet deadlines;
- Have a flexible approach.
