We are looking for a Junior HR & Payroll Assistant to join our client's Payroll and Administration team, which supports the company's employees around the world.
Responsibilities include:
  • Offering support in the processing of monthly salary payments;
  • Handling of administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle;
  • Overseeing all HR-related documentation and maintaining HR records and employee files;
  • Entering and updating employee data on to the HR system and ensuring accurate records are maintained;
  • Acting as the main point of contact for employees on payroll queries;
  • Absence management and updating relevant databases;
  • Assisting overseas arrivals in Malta with work permit applications, opening bank accounts and ID card applications;
  • Actively assisting other HR projects as requested from time to time.
Your Profile:
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of HR administration experience, including use of HR software;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Advanced written and verbal English language skills;
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills;
  • Easily adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Great attention to detail, producing working with accuracy and the ability to retain knowledge;
  • Ability to treat all matters with absolute confidentiality and integrity.
