Our client is a company based in Malta, offering a unique social betting experience to mobile users through its innovative, engaging platform and is looking for a motivated Retention Specialist.

The role involves working both strategic and operational levels across retention marketing, delivering best-in-class customer service, and ensuring that all customers are fully optimised with regard to regulatory requirements and current campaigns as part of a small outbound retention strategy team in the Malta-based office.

Responsibilities:
  • Making retention calls to new or lost customers to discuss new campaigns and settle any unresolved customer issues; 
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through good customer care;
  • Creating brand loyalty, cultivating positive working connections with customers;
  • Recording and examining customer input to help with new marketing and retention initiatives;
  • Ensuring that all applicable regulations and legislation are followed; providing first-line Safer Gambling help when needed.
Requirements:
  • We prefer direct retention or sales and marketing expertise, but we will consider transferable skills as well;
  • Although prior expertise in the iGaming industry is ideal, a passion for customer care is required;
  • Applicants must be willing to work in the gaming industry and be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends;
  • With good communication skills, confident, personable, and empathetic (written and verbal);
  • Confidential and composed, capable of dealing with sensitive information and possibly dissatisfied consumers;
  • Precision and attention to detail;
  • Good record-keeping and organisational skills;
  • Self-motivated and have a good outlook on life.
