Key Responsibilities: 
  • Ensure that the activities are being monitored for compliance with any regulatory requirements, as well as any additional requirements and that they are being carried out effectively under the supervision of the relevant functional area's head;
  • Under the supervision of the relevant Nominated Person, monitor activities in the areas of flight operations, maintenance, crew training, and ground operations to verify that the standards needed by the relevant CAA and requirements set by the airline are met;
  • Ascertain that the compliance monitoring program is effectively implemented, maintained, and updated on a regular basis;
  • Follow up on obligations, duties, improvements, and modifications made in OM-A on a regular basis;
  • Oversee the implementation and performance of the Compliance Monitoring Program's activities and processes;
  • Ensure that all audits and inspections are carried out by adequately competent people in accordance with the yearly audits and inspections plan and that reports are distributed to responsible parties;
  • In concerns involving the safety and quality of operations, communicate with regulatory agencies, original equipment manufacturers, and other operationally important external entities.
What do you have to offer?
  • Work experience in quality assurance activities (quality management or auditing) of at least five (5) years, including involvement in at least ten (10) internal or external audits in the last two (2) years;
  • A university degree;
  • substantial experience combined with necessary professional certifications within the aviation industry;
  • Expertise, background, and relevant experience linked to airline activities, including compliance monitoring knowledge and experience;
  • EASA requirements are well-understood;
  • Experience in a commercial airline environment with proven aviation safety and quality;
  • Valid quality management, audit, and regulation certifications must be possessed, or have been held;
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that are well-developed;
  • Ability to allocate tasks, establish clear goals, and manage workflow;
  • Exceptional mentoring and coaching skills;
  • Excellent negotiation, appraisal, and decision-making skills.
