The Aviation Resources Director is responsible for one of the airline's largest financial posts, the crews. It is a very important role in a highly dynamic and international company.
He or she is in charge of the budget for crew planning, crew travel, and crew training, as well as leading and motivating all team members in the department to do their obligations.

The function is strategic and tactical in nature since it entails long-term crew resource planning, supplier negotiations, departmental long-term development, and tactical deployment of crews on commercial projects, among other things.
The position entails constant improvement and development of one's own and other corporate departments in order to maximise the use of all resources available.

Close collaboration with the company's vice presidents to ensure company-wide process management is an important feature of the role and a large part of the daily responsibilities.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be involved in high-stakes commercial initiatives from start to finish. From the beginning, with quote preparation, to the planning and launch of actual projects, performance monitoring during projects, and closing and evaluation after completion.
The successful candidate can expect to travel in limited amounts to meet clients or participate in audits.

Role Requirements:
  • Graduated from university with at least 5 years of professional experience OR considerable professional experience in a relevant field as a substitute for academic merits;

  • Proven ability to lead teams in complex matrix organizations has been demonstrated;
  • MS Office software proficiency is required;
  • People management skills; human resource management;
  • Client and employee relationship management;
  • Project management with a wide range of skills;
  • Assurance of quality and compliance;
  • Cost vs effective utilization balancing and management;
  • Training and development;
  • Interaction and communication;
  • Improvement and development of the business;
  • Financial and business know-how;
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Previous expertise in crew planning and management, ideally in an international setting.
