  • Proactive monitoring and support of both staging and production systems
  • Investigate problems, perform root cause analysis, and derive resolutions
  • Prepare and take part in the periodic releases of new software
  • Act as an escalation point for issues flagged by customer support
  • Work closely with our internal third line support teams
  • Roll out innovative ideas and solutions that will enable NOC to work more efficiently
  • Act as a bridge between NOC and DevOps to increase the knowledge and reduce escalation
  • Understand and find ways to automate tasks within operations
  • Be a point of contact to the various developers and support them with any queries or issues that might arise from time to time
  • Ensuring documentation is well maintained

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Positive, confident, and able to work under pressure and on own initiative
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
  • All-rounder with very good general IT knowledge and expertise in Linux technologies
  • Strong time management
  • Identify risk versus urgency for any given task
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to prioritise based on different factors
  • Senior position - Day shift (office hours)
  • Junior position - Day/Night/Rest/Off
