The Lead Developer will take a leading role in the team, take an active role in architecture planning, and is responsible for agile planning and acceptance criteria.
  
Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop microservices and internal frontend applications
• Optimize SQL based managed database
• Active role in architecture planning
• Agile planning and acceptance criteria
• Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code and leading code reviews
• Guiding the development team in the design, development, coding, and testing
• Mentoring junior team developers
• Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design

  
Infrastructure

• Container-based cloud microservices (go, node, python, PHP, bash)
• Cloud-based managed SQL databases
• Google Cloud Storage
• BigQuery
• Looker

  
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent Computer Science or related industry experience
• Experience in a lead developer role or extensive senior developer experience
• Good knowledge of the current infrastructure
• Experience working with big data
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Organized, self-motivated and result-oriented
• Happy to work in a fully remote team
