A Private Clients Relationship Manager is required to join the investing team of our client, a well-known financial institution. The ideal candidate will provide customisation financial advice on Investments and Insurance, through the use of a whitelist containing foreign/local bonds, equities, ETFs, mutual funds and insurance products, for private clients with the potential to hold an investment portfolio between Eur 100,000 up to Eur 500,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To oversee the allocated customer relationships, particularly those with high net worth clients, by communicating with them, offering investment guidance in line with bank guidelines, and/or serving as secondary relationship manager for the larger portfolios held by Private Clients;
  • Actively pursuing strategies for customer acquisition in order to draw fresh deposits;
  • Ensuring that internal policies, risk management procedures, and corrective action plans are developed to address process and control weaknesses. Report any deficiencies to the Compliance Manager;
  • to contribute to the Wealth Management Unit's internal research role and stay current on the present economic and investing climate. The PC Manager may be asked to serve on the Wealth Distribution Committee;
  • Develop and expand the client database for investments through effective networking, and implement other customer acquisition strategies;
  • Ensure that the assigned clients' and their investment portfolios' regulatory and compliance obligations are met.
General Responsibilities:
  • To submit any reports and/or oversee such tasks and projects as may from time to time be directed;
  • To consistently assure adherence to the Bank's policies, rules, and guiding practices;
  • To aid his/her superior in creating the business plan and supporting budgets for the unit;
  • To carry out common office duties such as answering phones, filing, ordering supplies, and processing mail;
  • To carry out any additional tasks that may opportunely be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:
  • Working experience in the Investment field coupled with a theoretical background in Investment;
  • Highly conversant with the Investments Regulatory environment;
  • Holds a benchmark qualification to be registered with the MFSA as an Investment Advisor;
  • Holds qualifications in Sales/marketing desired;
  • Highly dynamic and organised individual with strong time management and leadership skills;
  • Possesses a strong focus on quality of service and client relationships;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships;
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Is able to work on his own, with minimum guidance, and with a strong sense of prioritisation;
  • Ability to network effectively;
  • Keen follower of the investment markets.
