For one of our clients, we are recruiting for a Sportsbook Manager (Dutch/Flemish) to take full ownership of the product performance and work with multiple business units to deliver a market-leading proposition. As an expert in sports and potentially other gaming verticals, you will quickly recognize opportunities for growth and development and have the management skills to effectively execute these and/or drive the commercial sports team to do so.
  
As Sportsbook Manager, you will have a deep understanding of customer behavior and motivations and can define and execute your strategy in a clear, structured way to significantly grow the business and take market share.
  
Your first 90 days:
  • You will get a full understanding, and take ownership, of the day-to-day commercial performance of our sports vertical
  • You will review & asses the company strategy and formulate an action plan (campaign)
  • You will assess the current and future needs for the department and hire as needed
  • You will review, improve, or build processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance

  
What you’ll do afterward:
  • You will own the commercial performance of the product vertical
  • You will advice management on new developments and potential 3rd party suppliers
  • You will manage the cost in order to retain players
  • You will ensure all aspects of the product are compliant (Promotions, Product, Etc.)
  • You will oversee commercial performance and report to the business on drivers of success
  • You will keep up to date with competitors and ensure the competitiveness of our product
  • You will own the product life cycle from scoping, sign off through to launch and optimization
  • You will work closely with customer services to ensure best practices are standard
  • You will work with UX, marketing or other teams to shape the product customer journey
  • You will work with 3rd party suppliers or other stakeholders as appropriate

  
Who we’re looking for:
  • You have 3 years of online marketing, with particular emphasis in areas of conversion, CRM / retention
  • You can translate the business strategic goals into activities and to support them.
  • You have Analytical and reporting skills using word, excel and power-point
  • You have great negotiation skills
  • You are a confident leader and decision maker who can motivate others to be successful
  • You are structured, organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • You have excellent stakeholder management
  • You are commercially aware and with a clear understanding of vertical KPIs
  • You will know which ‘levers’ to pull to optimize product performance
  • You can think strategically while rolling up your sleeves to execute

  • A salary based on your experience and education
  • A fulltime contract based on 40 hours per week
  • The role is based on the sunny island of Malta
  • An Indefinite contract (after 6 months of probation)
