we are looking for a talented Head of Product to head the product development team for our client. In order to create a market-leading Platform offering on a worldwide scale, you will be heading the Platform Product division in close collaboration with a cross-functional team. The advancement of platform development initiatives will likewise be under your watchful eye.

You will be in charge of the product development pipeline and accountable for bringing new features, functionalities, and products to market in order to expand the company.

The ideal applicant will be a strong leader with expertise in leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver outcomes on schedule and in accordance with the overall objective.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a project group that develops an online gaming platform for a variety of product categories, technologies, and distributors;
  • To enable the prompt execution of the road map and initiatives, assemble the team and establish the proper team structures;
  • Create and evaluate suggestions on ways to make the Platform product better from the viewpoint of the user (via features, user experience, content, etc.);
  • Drafting user stories and requirements with specific acceptance criteria for the development teams, and making sure that product documentation is well-written and current;
  • Organise the platform-related task backlog for the appropriate development teams;
  • Make sure development teams receive the required product support to meet deadlines;
  • Collaborating with Platform's product managers, product owners, and other key stakeholders to ensure priorities are set and followed correctly, in accordance with the long-term business plan;
  • Representing the viewpoint of the end user on cross-functional teams in charge of executing our platform's projects;
  • Road map and release planning for our platform's deliverables (particularly, changes aimed at the end user), including coordination with other teams and dependency mapping;
  • Defining the customer experience and product needs for platform features and requirements while working with UX and UI professionals;
  • putting in place appropriate analytics and tracking systems to analyse client behavior and find areas for further improvement using accurate and relevant data;
  • Communicating with management and stakeholders about the status of the project and creating and distributing release notes for each release;
  • Create important metrics to evaluate the performance of your team.
Required:
  • Extensive technical understanding of server-based technologies, web-based distribution, and iGaming platforms, including the ability to define product road maps and long-term goals;
  • Knowledge of modern sophisticated development tool chains, bug tracking systems, continuous integration, and version control systems in both commercial and open source/agile contexts, as well as practical expertise with these tools;
  • Experience in describing, creating, and delivering software applications in a variety of standards and languages;
  • Strong and observable release engineering and software development skills. It is advantageous to be able to do so in remote environments and/or settings without direct line management or extensive face-to-face contact;
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, as well as how they might improve the platform's performance and robustness;
  • Having interdisciplinary team collaboration experience with an emphasis on delivering in a quickly changing environment;
  • Knowledge of how to effectively include senior management and other stakeholder groups, including third-party suppliers;
  • Able to show effective managerial abilities in facilitation, negotiation, and communication;
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, including the capacity to handle multiple task streams simultaneously while juggling quality and business priorities.
