Infrastructure Lead - Cloud/DevOps/Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, ensuring they align with business objectives and have the necessary resources to excel.
• Develop and implement scalable infrastructure strategies that prioritize security and reliability.
• Oversee infrastructure projects to ensure they meet stakeholder requirements within budget and on time.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and policies, coordinating with internal and external auditors as necessary.
• Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure and processes to keep the team informed and up to date.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering and Operations teams in identifying and resolving infrastructure issues.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in infrastructure, cloud computing, and DevOps to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills, including experience developing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Proven leadership experience, with a successful track record of managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Strong technical skills in Terraform and Cloud Development Kit for Terraform, with the ability to design and implement complex infrastructure solutions.
• Expertise in Managed Kubernetes Service (EKS) and the ability to manage and operate Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with monitoring services such as Prometheus, Grafana, or other tools, with the ability to design and implement effective monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS Load Balancer and Load Balancer Controller, with the ability to design and manage complex cluster balancing strategies.
• Experience with Amazon Relational Database Service and in-memory databases such as REDIS, with the ability to design, build, and manage database applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes Container Storage Interface and proven ability to design and manage container storage solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Web Application Firewall and the ability to design and implement resilient web application security standards.
• Strong understanding of Python & Typescript, with the ability to develop and maintain infrastructure code.
