As a
Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's products. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, and ensuring that the gaming experience meets player expectations while aligning with business goals.
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and making data-driven decisions to optimise the player experience and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy. Define long-term goals and objectives and prioritise features and improvements accordingly;
- Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, player preferences, and competitive analysis. Use this information to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation;
- Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines the release schedule for new features, content updates, and game improvements;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, artists, engineers, and other teams to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and innovation;
- User Experience (UX): Champion the player experience by conducting user testing, analysing player feedback, and collaborating with UX/UI designers to optimise game interfaces and gameplay mechanics;
- Leverage extensive experience working with online gaming products and services to identify and integrate key differentiating features, setting our products apart from the competition;
- Drive the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience;
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analytics and KPIs to measure the performance of games and released features. Make informed decisions based on key metrics such as player retention, engagement, and monetisation. Conduct thorough user and competitive research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and refine product features;
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in online gaming to inform and enhance product development strategies;
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that games and features meet high-quality standards by overseeing the testing and QA process, resolving bugs, and addressing player concerns promptly;
- Launch and Promotion: Plan and execute successful product launches, including marketing and promotional strategies to maximise player acquisition and retention;
- Feedback Loop: Establish and maintain a feedback loop with the gaming community through social media, forums, and player surveys. Use player feedback to inform product improvements and updates.
Qualifications:- Formal training or bachelor/master’s degree in UX/UI design, HCI, or a related field;
- Five to ten (5-10)+ years of experience in UX/UI design and product development, with a strong emphasis on online gaming products and services;
- Deep understanding of the online gaming industry, including knowledge of key players, trends, and emerging technologies;
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design work, with a focus on online gaming projects;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions;
- Excellent English verbal communication and writing skills - a must;
- Experience in working with remote development teams - a must;
- Experience in product management in the agile environment.
