As the Chief Business Development Officer
(CBDO), you will be a pivotal member of the executive team, entrusted with propelling the company's growth through strategic business development initiatives and partnerships. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing external collaborations and internal projects, including multiple SEO modules on third-party websites.
You will play a crucial role in developing, planning, and executing the overall strategy for these projects, ensuring smooth operations. Communication with partners, reporting to management and the Board, and spearheading the scaling process and the exploration of new opportunities will be integral to your role. This includes setting up budgets and reporting against them.Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement the overall business development strategy aligned with the company's goals, identifying new business opportunities based on thorough market analysis;
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations, negotiating and structuring agreements that align with the company's values and long-term objectives;
- Identify and evaluate potential markets for expansion, implementing strategies to ensure successful market entry;
- Drive revenue growth by developing new business products and services, collaborating with the sales and marketing team to create innovative acquisition and retention strategies;
- Build and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a comparable role with a track record of successfully driving business growth;
- Strong understanding of the SEO & digital affiliate marketing landscape;
- Know-how/experience with lead generation on a large scale;
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically;
- Experience with M&A, exit, and/or IPO in a prior position;
- Creativity in developing new concepts, high level of independence, and ability to work in a team.
