A growing B2B iGaming software development company is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of DevOps & Infrastructure with a strong background in Devops/Infrastructure/Infosec. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing several IT teams, many of whom will are based remotely.
You will be able to manage larger groups of people, able to problem solve under pressure and show resilience if things go wrong.

  • Managing several DevOps, Infrastructure Engineers and IT Support teams
  • Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability
  • Implementing and maintaining version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies
  • Lead efforts to automate repetitive tasks, streamline deployment processes, and implement effective orchestration, leveraging tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Drive the implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines to facilitate frequent and reliable software releases
  • Managing cloud-based infrastructure including developing and implementing cloud governance policies, processes, and best practices
  • Analyzing system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations
  • Work closely with engineering teams to forecast resource needs, optimize infrastructure costs, and plan for future growth
Technical Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux
  • Technical expertise in software development, IT operations, and DevOps tools and technologies
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible, containerisation, CI/CD, active directory
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services
  • Experience implementing best practices with Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of managing in high demand / high availability organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and driving innovation
