A growing company within the iGaming sector is looking for a motivated team player to join its IT Support team.
  
The company is a tight knit group of 40 at its Malta site in the heart of Sliema and is an organization that is very much focused on offering growth paths to its existing employees. The company has the current opening due to promoting one of its staff internally.

The company has 5x offices spread across the globe so this will be a a position with a 24x7 rotating shift to cover all their sites.


Roster
24x 7. You will have 12 hour shifts and have no more than 3 consecutive night shifts. 
  
Shift Details
Day shifts are to be worked from their Sliema office. Night shifts can be worked from home.

Salary
Up to 35k depending on skills and experience + 10% performance bonus
 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide first call resolution for all IT related issued both for the Malta office and offshore offices
  • Create, action and follow up all support requests via JIRA ticketing system within SLA
  • Manage the service desk mailbox and all user accounts and associated dependences such as password, email accounts, etc.
  • Ensures updates to the Knowledge Base (KB) with all troubleshooting
    performed and, if applicable, the resolution are made.
  • Utilizes the KB and other support documentation to identify, isolate,
    diagnose and resolve end users technical problems and provide information
    and status as requested
  • Escalate tickets to higher levels of support if required.
  • Monitor system performance, follow up on alerts and carry out routine system maintenance
  • Contribute to any major deployments or testing projects
 
Requirements:
  • Experience working an IT support role
  • Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues
  • Good knowledge of server operating systems with particular focus on
    Windows Server 2016, Exchange server and Active Directory.
  • Good knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows) and associated hardware and software
  • Some experience with Linux would be a a plus
  • An understanding or any experience of AWS would be a plus
  • Knowledge/experience supporting MS Windows Server 2016
  • Experience of working with VMWare (virtualization) 
  • Knowledge of IP addressing and network
  • Accountability and a genuine motivation to see problems through till resolution
