Who Are We Looking For?:

We are seeking to speak to an experienced and dynamic Head of Payments & Security to join the operations team.

This critical role will report directly to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Payments, Fraud & Security department.

As the subject matter expert in Payments, Security, and Fraud, you will drive the strategic roadmap for these key business areas and the ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in payments and security within the online gaming industry, ideally in a senior leadership role.

A hands-on approach and a passion for building and leading a high-performing team are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Building: Lead the Payments, Fraud & Security department, starting with hands-on responsibilities and scaling the team to provide 24/7 coverage as the business grows.
  • Department Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Payments & Security team, conducting regular meetings and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Fraud Prevention & Security: Oversee the prevention of chargebacks and detection of potential fraud across all payment channels, taking proactive steps to mitigate risks.
  • User Activity Monitoring: Monitor user activity to identify and address high-risk behaviors, implementing reports and alerts for continuous oversight.
  • Third-Party Collaboration: Liaise directly with third-party providers as needed, managing relationships and ensuring optimal performance from payment and fraud prevention tools.
  • Payment Provider Management: Manage the onboarding and ongoing review of all payment providers, ensuring the best configurations for performance and security.
  • Tool Optimization: Oversee the configuration and integration of payments and fraud tools, reports, and systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience & Skills:
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in a senior role within Payments, Fraud, or Security in the online gaming industry is essential.
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Payment Optimization: Strong experience working with payment providers to enhance and optimize performance.
  • Fraud & Risk Management: In-depth knowledge of fraud prevention and risk mitigation tools and strategies.
  • US Market Experience: Previous experience in the North America market is highly advantageous.
  • Data Sensitivity: Demonstrated care and responsibility when handling sensitive information.
  • Chargeback Resolution: Expertise in managing and resolving chargebacks, with confidence in leading this critical aspect of the business.
