We are looking for a
Managing Editor to oversee and optimise the daily operations of two gambling affiliate content modules on Tier 1 US Media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SEO-driven lead generation, with expertise in scaling websites through content, technology, and ongoing innovation. This role requires a blend of broad skills, strong organisational discipline, and entrepreneurial thinking, as it carries direct product responsibilities.
The perfect candidate has a solid background in SEO, a deep understanding of the US iGaming market, and experience in developing and growing lead-generation sites. They should also bring the right mindset to deliver excellent results.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Content Leadership: Lead the creation, editing, and publication of impactful content that engages the target audience and drives results;
- Team Expansion & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing content team, scaling resources as needed to execute the content strategy effectively;
- Data-Driven Optimisation: Use analytics to refine content performance, implementing A/B tests and making data-driven adjustments to enhance outcomes;
- Quality Assurance & Editorial Oversight: Ensure all content meets high standards of quality and aligns with the editorial vision by coordinating with freelancers and internal teams;
- SEO & Content Strategy Integration: Incorporate SEO best practices into content creation, working closely with SEO and affiliate management teams to align content strategy with business goals;
- Advanced Content Management: Manage the use of WordPress and other CMS platforms, integrating advanced functionalities to improve content management efficiency;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key link between editorial, SEO, and affiliate teams to ensure cohesive content strategies that support overall business growth;
- Editorial Standards & Compliance: Ensure all content meets editorial standards and aligns with brand guidelines, maintaining the brand’s voice and authority;
- Project Management & Coordination: Manage content calendars, deadlines, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely project delivery.
What do you have to offer?- Native or near-native written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior SEO role within the iGaming industry;
- Proficiency with WordPress and basic HTML knowledge;
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment;
