Role Overview:
As the Chief Marketing Officer / Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy that drives growth, brand awareness, and customer acquisition across all digital channels. You will lead a talented marketing team, oversee performance marketing, brand management, customer retention strategies, and work closely with other departments, such as product, technology, and data analytics, to ensure a unified approach towards achieving the company’s objectives.

This is a key leadership position within the company, requiring both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with other senior leaders to shape the future of the brand.
You have the capability and seniority to act as deputy-CEO  at times when the CEO is remote
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and market trends within the iGaming industry. You understand the market and have a clear vision how to succeed in a highly competitive market.
• Brand Management: Lead the development of the company’s brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels and markets.
• Customer Acquisition & Retention: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of performance marketing campaigns across digital channels, ensuring a strong focus on ROI and customer retention whilst being in control of cost and budget. Develop strategies to enhance player loyalty, increase lifetime value, and optimize retention efforts through personalized marketing campaigns and promotions
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing marketing team. Ensure team members are motivated, skilled, and aligned with company objectives. You have sufficient detailed expertise to challenge and support the team in driving their focus area to a next level.
• Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies. You report on marketing performance to the executive team.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Data teams to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with and supported by other areas of the business.
• Compliance & Regulation: Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, particularly in.

  
Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in senior marketing leadership roles within the online gambling or iGaming industry.
• Strong track record of successfully driving growth and brand awareness in a competitive and regulated environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams into the next phase of the business
• Expertise in performance marketing, digital acquisition, and data-driven marketing strategies.
• Expertise in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
• Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape in the iGaming industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use it to drive decision-making and optimize marketing efforts.
• A creative, strategic, forward-thinking and results-oriented individual with a passion for the gaming industry. With the ability to execute hands-on when required.
• Fluency in English is required; Dutch language is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
