This role offers a unique opportunity to lead compliance initiatives and shape regulatory frameworks for Cyprus Investment Firms (CIF), Crypto-Asset Services Providers (CASP), and other regulated entities.
  
As a senior team member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, driving process improvements, and providing strategic compliance support.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory reports for CIF and CASP entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and interpret new legislation and CySEC Circulars, ensuring the organization's compliance and advising on necessary adaptations.
  • Draft and update compliance manuals, annual compliance reports, and internal policies to align with current regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide recommendations for strengthening compliance practices based on internal and external audit findings.
  • Conduct internal audits and on-site inspections to assess compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Identify risks, propose corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Education team to develop and deliver training programs on relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Mentor and guide junior compliance associates, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of compliance excellence.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies, responding to inquiries and representing the organization during inspections or meetings.
  • Support senior management with strategic insights on regulatory trends and implications.
  
About You
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional qualification in compliance is a strong plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within CIF, CASP, or a similar regulatory environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of CySEC regulations and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance tools/software.
  • Proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership capabilities with a collaborative mindset.
