Reconciliation Officer Limassol

The team is currently looking to hire a detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliation Officer to join the finance team. The Reconciliation Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and statements, particularly in relation to client funds and trading activities.
Responsibilities:- Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations of client funds to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
- Verify and reconcile trading transactions, including trade confirmations, settlements, and payments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and statements in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Trading & Backoffice, to address reconciliation issues and improve processes.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on reconciliation activities and financial discrepancies.
- Monitor all transfers/settlements between client bank accounts.
- Review the fees of each provider to ensure alignment with agreements.
- Update the software with daily bank balance amounts and maintain the working Excel spreadsheet per entity.
- Handle ad-hoc queries and tasks.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in financial reconciliation, preferably in the trading or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel is a must.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Understanding of CFD trading and financial markets (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of Mrs Methodos Reconciliation or Aurum software is an advantage.
