Our client a medium size brokerage with stable working environment and increasing profitable performance is looking to grow further locally and internationally and they are hiring an experienced HR officer to grow together with the company and assist them in developing the HR department as well as HR overall culture and processes.
The Human Resources Officer will play a key role in supporting the company's HR functions ensuring all employee relevant operations are implemented and executed smoothly. Acting as a bridge between management and staff, the HR Officer will be responsible to implement a positive workplace culture, to support performance management processes, and to assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with organizational
goals. Duties and responsibilities: - Supporting recruitment processes: job postings, screening, interview coordination with the hiring managers
- Managing onboarding, employment documentation and offboarding procedures
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with Cyprus labor law
- Providing HR support to employees, including handling leave, payroll-related requests and any other HR related matters
- Collaborating with staff and managers to foster a healthy and engaging working environment
- Preparing and submitting salary and benefits data to the external payroll partner
- Supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures in coordination with the Head of Operations
- Liaising with external service providers (e.g. payroll, health insurance, recruitment)
- Suggesting and arranging team building and employee incentives
- Maintaining a well organised office and work environment by assisting with minor office tasks such as handling supplies, vendors, and facility-related partners
- Arrange travelling for employees and occasional company events
Experience and skills needed:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role, office management, or
administration preferably in the fintech industry.
- Solid understanding of Cyprus employment law and HR practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent English
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business software
