Are you a hands-on technical leader with a passion for clean code, scalable systems, and mentoring others?
We’re looking for a Backend Team Lead to guide a talented engineering team while remaining deeply involved in development. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge backend solutions that power a fast-growing FinTech platform.
  
What You’ll Do

• Lead and actively contribute to backend development using PHP (Yii2) and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services that scale with business growth.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and backend teams to deliver seamless, secure platform features.
• Integrate third-party services and payment gateways, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Apply best engineering practices — OOP, DDD, TDD, and SOLID principles.
• Review code, mentor developers, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement across processes.  

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience leading backend development teams.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with PHP (Yii2 or similar) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, MySQL, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Next.js, Fastify, and serverless architectures (AWS Lambda).
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the FinTech or Payments sector.
• Familiarity with React, React Native, and AWS services.
• Exposure to HTML5/CSS3 and frontend best practices.
