Providing basic support and troubleshooting, such as password resets, break/fix instructions, ticket routing and escalation to Level 2 and Level 3 support.  May also escalate to IT applications support or call for outside vendor maintenance (Level 4), as needed.  Gathers and analyses information about the user’s issue and determines the best way to resolve their problem.  Provide support for identified Level 2 and Level 3 issues where configuration solutions have already been documented. Basic support work for HW and in-house software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:    
  • Installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks;
  • Work in data centers (installing hardware, software, network and providing “remote hands” services);
  • Manage network servers and technology tools;
  • Set up accounts and workstations;
  • Domain Access and DNS Management;
  • Emails management;
  • Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues and maintain systems according to requirements;
  • Ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure;
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues;
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams;
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues;
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages;
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls;
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models;
  • Cooperate with SysAdmin team (as part of the same team), which is building an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies;
  • Other ad-hoc IT-related tasks.
  • Advanced Diploma in IT plus prior experience working in a similar role;
  • Working experience with networks and systems;
  • Solutions-oriented and follows a proactive approach to your work;
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently.
