Are you passionate about the Japanese market and its culture ? Can you build and maintain lasting B2B relationships with affiliates? Our client is looking for a goal-oriented individual who is both communicative and driven as well as, ready to lead the way and recruit new business partners in a new developing market. This candidate has to be experienced in sales, business development, marketing and/or affiliate management.
We will entrust you with the following responsibilities:
  • Identify, research and recruit new affiliates within the Japanese market with the scope of growing the market share, revenue and traffic
  • Build and develop solid relationships with new affiliates in the market
  • Negotiate new deals and affiliate contracts to meet revenue and growth targets and KPIs
  • Ensure our brand is accurately represented on affiliate sites including the monitoring of reviews, trackers and creatives
  • Handle day-to-day communications and provide ongoing support and assistance to our accounts
  • Analyze campaigns and account performance in order to, increase optimization while delivering departmental KPIs and overall ROI from the present portfolio. Also, recommend courses of action to correct any metrics where necessary
  • Work with the Country Manager, SEO and CRM departments to ensure excellent customer experience and high quality marketing materials for the relevant markets
  • Assist with the creation of customized marketing materials, as needed for the affiliate channel such as mailers, landing pages, banners, reviews etc
  • Work with the CRM department on funnels to target inactive players through specific affiliate campaigns and promotions
  • Participate in industry events and keep up with industry trends, while following through with post-event reports and feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Carry out regular and intensive competitor analysis and market research
  • Other Adhoc duties 
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales, affiliate management and/or marketing in the Japanese market
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese 
  • Proficient MS Office and PC skills
  • Strong people, negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team
