The purpose of this role will focus primarily on the development of marketing strategies for the assigned territories. This country manager will collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to create strategies and campaigns. The individual will also be the main contact between different company channels and the customers to ensure that they are getting the best holistic online casino experience.

We will entrust you with the following responsibilities:
• Customer acquisition, conversion and retention, with a focus on revenue generation
• Budgets, business plans, marketing plan and economic follow-up for the targeted markets, together with any other reporting
• Manage, plan and execute all marketing and sales activities for the local markets to maximize ROI on marketing and media budgets.
• Evaluate and follow-up on said deals and partnerships, during and after campaigns
• Define and communicate the local market strategy and the product for Japan whilst conducting regular competitor analysis • Monitoring current and future regulatory requirements for the market and adapting a strategy to cater for these needs accordingly
• Create tailor-made targeted marketing campaigns,promotions and events
• Working across departments with other Country Managers to capture and optimize synergies with other markets
• Actively manage a full marketing and brand strategy, ensuring an optimal marketing mix to enhance player acquisitions to improve the ROI and further establish the brand in your designated territory
• Work across the full player/user journey, establishing effective continuous improvement initiatives to drive acquisition and conversion efficiency, player onboarding, retention and yield
• Working alongside the Affiliate team to further extend market distribution via affiliate partnerships
• Take responsibility for the annual budget planning
• Be the representative of the company within the targeted markets, when it comes to dealing with major customers, partners and professional associations
• Manage and executing digital marketing campaigns through the different acquisition channels
• Create and optimize profitable affiliate deals in Japan
• Other Adhoc duties

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Country Manager for the Japanese Market
• Experience working with an iGaming Operator
• Knowledge of affiliation in the iGaming industry
• Experience in creating and implementing marketing strategies
• Knowledge of online marketing via different mediums including mobile technologies
• Knowledgeable about digital media and 360° Marketing
• Fluent in verbal and written Japanese
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Team player
• Ability to liaise with different departments
• Strong communication & leadership skills
• Analytical thinking
• Strategic problem-solving skills
• Proactive approach in day-to-day tasks
