The Reporting Manager ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial and regulatory reporting for UK and European entities. This includes statutory accounts, management reporting, Solvency II, and internal performance reporting across multiple accounting standards (UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS 17) and regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, MFSA).
Responsibilities: - Lead financial reporting for UK/European entities under UK GAAP and US GAAP.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and disclosures under UK GAAP and IFRS 17.
- Oversee regulatory reporting, including Solvency II (QRTs, NSTs, SFCR, RSR, ORSA).
- Support planning, forecasting, and liaise with capital management, actuarial, and group finance.
- Manage external audit processes and deliverables.
- Produce KRIs and performance metrics for management and the Board.
- Drive process improvements, documentation, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial crime, sanctions, and other regulatory obligations.
Requirements: - Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in insurance.
- 4+ years in accounting/auditing, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Proficient in GAAP, IFRS, ERP systems, and Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
