Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger, including daily journal entries.
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements.
- Address discrepancies and take corrective action in line with standard policies and procedures.
- Record purchase orders for accruals, ensure approvals are in place, and verify adherence to internal expenditure procedures.
- Review and distribute invoices for authorization, monitor processing, and ensure timely payments.
- Liaise with suppliers on invoice-related queries.
- Prepare payment runs, process prepayments and accruals, and issue bills payables for approval.
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns.
- Organise and maintain filing systems for efficient document retrieval.
- Review employee expense claims and corporate card usage in line with internal policies.
- Monitor daily liquidity position.
- Assist with month-end procedures and financial reporting.
- Undertake other finance-related duties as assigned.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to process improvements.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and financial reporting skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in English.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
