Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Team Leader with background as BI Developer and strong team leadership capabilities to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models, as well as experience leading a team to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities: - BI Solution Development:
Design, develop, and deploy Business Intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualisations, using tools such as Power BI, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). - Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate their requirements into effective BI solutions that provide actionable insights. - Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor members in the BI team, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of projects. Foster a collaborative environment and provide guidance on best practices in BI development. - Database Management:
Utilise your expertise in MS SQL and MySQL to design, maintain, and optimise databases, data warehouse and ensuring data integrity and performance. - Troubleshooting and Support:
Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues related to BI reports, dashboards, and data models. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing BI solutions. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with the latest BI technologies and methodologies, and actively contribute to the improvement of processes and tools within the team.
Key Requirements: - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in BI development using SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, MS SQL, and MySQL. - Technical Skills:
- Proficient in creating complex reports and dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimise queries.
- Experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and database design.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively. - Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education: - A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
