Maintain strong and professional client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks, including reviewing application forms, KYC documentation, welcome packs, investment statements, discharge forms, investment instructions, dealing and withdrawal requests, IFA fee requests, and all payment instructions.
Calculate income and lump sum payments in line with HMRC guidelines and applicable legislation.
Set up foreign currency exchange trades and ensure timely transmission of funds.
Review and sign off on transfer requisition forms related to benefits, investments, fees, and expenses before submitting for final approval.
Ensure all payments to clients and third parties are made accurately and on time.
Review and submit required regulatory reports within set deadlines.
Liaise with Investment Managers on complex investment structures and assist with Quarterly Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting.
Communicate with Investment Companies, Financial Advisers, and Clients as needed.
Ensure service standards and internal turnaround times are met, in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to junior staff on complex matters and address non-standard queries.
Assign and monitor daily workload for junior team members, ensuring progress is tracked and priorities are met.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks on the work performed by junior staff and data entered into internal systems.
Mentor junior staff, offering technical and procedural guidance and identifying training needs to be reported to the Operations Manager.
Assist in the development of procedures and internal training programmes.
Stay informed on relevant legislative and regulatory changes.
Perform general administrative duties as required.
