Country Director Finland. This pivotal leadership role requires a professional with a deep understanding of the Finnish market
and an established network of industry contacts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and representing the brand at the highest level within the region.
Position Overview The Country Director will take full ownership of the Finnish business, aligning operational strategies with the organisation’s overall objectives. This includes managing budgets, teams, and local partnerships while ensuring compliance with Finnish regulations and company standards. The role demands a commercially astute leader with the ability to identify opportunities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities - Define and execute the strategic plan for Finland in line with corporate goals.
- Lead the Finnish team, overseeing operations, budget, and people management.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finnish team to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Report on business performance and market developments to senior leadership.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with local partners and suppliers.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.
- Oversee local marketing, PR, and communication strategies to strengthen brand presence.
Candidate Profile - Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience in iGaming
- Extensive knowledge of the Finnish market and a well-established local network.
- Proven track record in successfully managing operations, budgets, and high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in both Finnish and English.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commercial acumen.
