We’re looking for a proactive
Application Support Analyst to join a forward-thinking technology team in Malta. In this role, you’ll combine technical know-how and business understanding to ensure key applications run smoothly and efficiently. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and supporting critical business systems, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact.
The Role - Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support, collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve issues and enhance performance.
- Troubleshoot complex problems by analyzing application logs and performance data.
- Oversee application performance, servers, and scheduled jobs to ensure smooth operations.
- Support application deployments, updates, and patches.
- Work closely with users to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and deliver improvements.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for processes, requirements, and testing.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
- Administer tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and TeamCity, and configure EDI systems.
- Provide technical expertise and day-to-day support for core applications within the Malta office.
What You’ll Bring - Previous experience in application or systems support in a corporate environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Agile practices (SCRUM/Sprint) and collaborative workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Exposure to any of the following is considered an asset:
- o Microsoft Dynamics CRM or GP
- o Liferay DXP
- o Mulesoft integrations
