A company in the iGaming industry is looking to hire a Group Financial Controller.
Responsibilities - Own the full accounting cycle and produce accurate monthly and annual consolidated accounts.
- Ensure financial reporting reflects operational reality, commercial logic, and economic substance.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations across international entities and justify all balances.
- Manage complex multi-currency bank and PSP reconciliations.
- Lead and develop an international finance team across accounting, treasury, procurement, tax, and banking.
- Serve as the primary liaison with auditors, banks, and external partners.
- Apply strong contextual judgment to financial issues and balance precision with business relevance.
- Investigate issues in depth, including reconciliations, root-cause analysis, and process mapping.
- Protect sensitive information and handle requests with appropriate discretion.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and systems enhancements.
- Maintain effective internal controls that ensure data integrity and reduce risk.
- Oversee treasury reporting, cash-flow visibility, and liquidity management.
- Support forecasting, scenario analysis, and broader treasury activities.
Requirements - Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) with IFRS expertise.
- Experience as a Group Financial Controller or senior finance role, preferably in private companies, gambling, fintech, or offshore sectors.
- Strong multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional, multi-currency experience.
- Proven track record in process improvements and high-volume reconciliations.
- Experienced in leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to investigate complex financial issues.
