Our client is a leading, profitable fintech regulated company headquartered in Cyprus, with over 10 years of successful operations in the financial services industry. Holding three prestigious regulatory licenses, including CySEC, they are committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance, integrity, and innovation. As they expand their global footprint, they are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of HR to join their team and drive transformative initiatives that will shape their organizational culture and structure for the future.
 
Role Summary
 
Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of HR will lead all human resources functions for the Cyprus-based operations while laying the groundwork for global expansion and undertaking the role of the Global Head of HR. This is a strategic role focused on fostering a high-performance culture, enhancing employer branding, and implementing structural changes to support sustainable growth. With strong support from management, you will have the autonomy to initiate and lead culture transformation projects, ensuring the workforce is engaged, compliant, and aligned with the company's global ambitions. The position offers significant potential for progression to Global Head of HR as the company scales internationally.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Culture Change Implementation: Lead initiatives to transform and embed a positive, inclusive, and innovative company culture, promoting values that enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Employer Branding: Drive branding efforts to position the company as an employer of choice in the forex and financial services sector, including internal communications, external marketing, and partnership development.
  • Organizational Structure Development: Design and implement robust HR frameworks and processes to build a scalable structure, preparing for global expansion and ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development programs to attract and retain top talent, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all HR practices comply with CySEC and other regulatory requirements, including employee relations, labor laws, and data protection.
  • Change Management: Champion change management projects, utilizing proven methodologies to guide the organization through transitions, minimize resistance, and achieve buy-in from all levels.
  • Performance and Compensation: Manage compensation and benefits strategies, performance appraisals, and employee wellness programs to motivate and reward high performance.
  • HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to measure HR effectiveness, report on key metrics, and inform decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing HR team, fostering a collaborative environment and professional growth.
Requirements and Experience needed:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years in HR leadership roles, preferably within the financial services, forex, fintech or a strong international company undergone cultural growth. Proven track record in change management and culture implementation is essential.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in HR best practices, with demonstrated success in driving organizational change, enhancing culture, and building employer brands.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Cyprus labor laws, CySEC regulations, and international HR practices. Experience in global HR expansion is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment and collaborate effectively with supportive senior management.
  • Other: Fluency in English and Greek will be considered as a very strong advantage.
